This collection consists mainly of letters written by Nina Paxton to military and government officials, publishers, and Amelia Earhart's family members about the disappearance of Earhart and Fred Noonan in July 1937. The collection also contains responses from some of these people, as well as newspaper and magazine articles related to Amelia Earhart's disappearance and Nina Paxton's experience hearing her distress calls.
