U.S. NATIONAL ARCHIVES (NARA): AMERICAN SOUTH
A center for the study of the history of the South. Holdings include extensive microfilm for genealogy research and general historical interest. Also has about 105,000 cubic feet of archival holdings dating from 1716 to the 1980s, primarily textual records but also maps photographs, and architectural drawings.
