    The Appalachian College Association invites faculty and staff to submit proposals for presentations at Summit 2025, Thursday and Friday, September 18-19, 2025, at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, TN.

    We seek presentation proposals from any area of our campuses (faculty, staff, and/or administrators) in these categories:

    • Classroom Teaching & Learning
    • Student Success & Advising
    • Student Life & Co-Curricular Learning
    • Educational Technology
    • Community Programs & Partnerships
    • Assessment & Institutional Effectiveness
    • Affinity Groups Facilitated Discussion Sessions

    Visit the Summit Website to learn more and/or submit your proposal(s). Deadline for submissions is Monday, June 30, 2025. We are also seeking Pre-Summit Workshop proposals for Wednesday, September 17, which are due Friday, June 16.

    The Appalachian College Association is very pleased to announce our 2025 Ledford Scholars. Forty-nine undergraduate students, representing 16 member institutions, receive funding for their intensive research projects to be completed in either the summer of fall terms.     The Appalachian College Association, in concert with our member colleges and universities, is very pleased to administer the ACA’s Graduate Tuition Discount Program. The program seeks to encourage greater educational attainment and professional development among our members’ faculty and staff and to furnish our qualified undergraduate students and alumni enhanced and more affordable opportunities to achieve their educational goals while remaining in the Central Appalachian region.
